5. Data Retention and Deletion

You have absolute control over your digital footprint on our platform.

• Active Accounts: We retain your chat logs and memory vectors as long as your account is active to ensure the AI remembers you.
• User-Initiated Deletion: You can delete specific chat messages, entire chat histories with a specific bot, or delete your entire account via the account settings menu at any time.
• Complete Wipe: Upon triggering account deletion, your profile data, active chat logs, and associated vector memory embeddings are permanently purged from our active production databases within 24 hours. (Note: Residual data may remain in encrypted cold-storage backups for up to 30 days before being automatically overwritten).

6. Third-Party Sharing

Flipped Chat limits the sharing of your data to strictly necessary operational requirements. We may share data with:

• Cloud Infrastructure Providers: Companies that host our servers and databases (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
